The World's Smallest Android Smartphone is So So Cute

Most of us have resigned ourselves to the rise of the phablets, with mobiles steadily getting bigger by the year. Such has been the shift that while 5-inch handsets used to be considered ridiculously unwieldy, they’re now the norm, with 5.5- and 6-inch phones becoming increasingly popular.

However, one company -- which you’ve probably never heard of -- is fighting back. Posh Mobile (told you) is selling its 2.4-inch Micro X S240 smartphone which measures 1.88 x 0.46 x 3.5-inches, for just $49.99 (£35). Look at it -- it's so small!

The dinky Android handset is the size of a fat credit card, and features a Mediatek MT 6572M processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot. It’s 4G-enabled too, and has a 650mAh battery and a 2-megapixel rear camera.

Simply put, it’s all the phone you should expect for such a price, but isn’t it cute? Unfortunately, we’ve only been able to find it in $$$s, and Amazon is only shipping it to customers based in the US. [SlashGear]
