Autonomous Dyson 360 Eye Robot Vacuum Set For June UK Release

Supreme Lord Dyson has finally got his home help robot together enough to give it an official launch date, with a new teaser of the autonomous vacuum suggesting it'll be on sale in the UK within six weeks.

The Dyson 360 Eye has a little panoramic eye atop its head to help it not get trapped within a sea of chair legs, with the chassis beneath housing a Radial Root Cyclone sucker thing with the power to trap more Lego pieces than ever before.

Test footage near the end shows it successfully navigating obstacles, with the poor thing putting in many miles of test running on a conveyor belt carpet. The launch date of six weeks from now comes via an email to UK residents who've expressed an interest in having one of the things to keep the warped laminate in their bedsits clean, so it ought to arrive around the end of June.

Prices are yet to be announced, although the Japanese version is on sale for around 138,000 yen -- which works out at approximately £750. [YouTube -- Thanks, Alex]
