Jeremy Clarkson's Amazon Car Show FINALLY Has a Name (and it's Crap)

After months and months of agonising deliberation -- mainly from the public, if any of Clarkson's chilled out little Facebook videos are anything to go by -- the upcoming Amazon car show that can't be called Top Gear finally has an official name.

The Grand Tour.

Hmm. Not a patch on Wacky Racists, or even Gear Knobs. In fact, it's really rather meh.

Here's what the trio had to say about the final choice:

“Thing is, we'll be travelling the world hosting each episode in a different country, from a giant tent," said Clarkson. "It's a sort of 'grand tour', if you like. So we've decided to call it 'The Grand Tour'.”

“I wanted to call it ‘Nigel’, or ‘Roger’," said an underwhelmed James May. "We needed a name, and they're names.”

“I already love camping,” piped up Richard Hammond. “But this is something else. We are like our pioneering and prospecting forebears, sallying forth into a new frontier of broadcasting, and making our home where...”
