Ladybird Has More of Those Funny Adult Books Coming for Christmas

By Gary Cutlack on at

Those allegedly funny Ladybird for adults books that set low-hanging parts of the world on fire last Christmas are back, this time aiming their greeting card humour at such easy targets as students, the workplace, old people, cats and -- in a surprisingly early shark-jump moment for the series -- the zombie apocalypse.

Nine new books will be appearing this autumn; How it Works: The Student, How it Works: The Cat, How it Works: The Dog, How it Works: The Grandparent, The Ladybird Book of the Meeting, The Ladybird Book of the People Next Door, The Ladybird Book of the Sickie and The Ladybird Book of the Zombie Apocalypse.
