Leaky Plane Forced into Emergency Landing at Edinburgh Airport

A United Airlines flight from London to Chicago had to abandon its flight before even Brexiting UK airspace, dumping fuel above Scotland before coming in to land at Edinburgh.

Flight 929 left London at 7am, before the flight crew noticed it was leaking fuel and requested permission to make an emergency landing at Edinburgh at around 10am. No one died. Lots of people are being extremely inconvenienced, though, as they ought to be tucking into some sort of prepackaged hot lunch somewhere above the Atlantic right now, instead of being angry at ground-based staff in Edinburgh.

More importantly, it very nearly drew a massive penis and testicles over Scotland:
