Logitech Has a Silent Mouse for You 4 AM Rage Clickers

By Gary Cutlack on at

Logitech, maker of things that plug into other more expensive things, has announced the M220 Silent and M330 Silent Plus; two forms of mouse for your computer that it says are nice and quiet.

They claim to have achieved around a 90 per cent noise reduction in the end, plus they're wireless and and can chat to their dongle from a distance of up to 33 feet away -- ideal if you got a bit carried away with the diagonal sizes when buying your new monitor.

Logitech's Anatoliy Polyanker explained: "Our engineers studied the sources of noise made by a computer mouse and created ways to reduce the decibel level without sacrificing quality," meaning, they hope, the buttons they came up with feel like nice buttons and not like you're pressing on the spongy eyeball of an actual dead mouse.

So you can put it next to your Logitech mechanical keyboard that clicks as loudly and satisfyingly as possible. What is clicking, Logitech? Good or bad? [Logitech]
