Amazon's Prime members have a new offer open to them today -- concert tickets. Physical concert tickets, sold through Amazon Tickets and non-refundable and non-transferable as is the modern way, for the amazing price of as much as £150.
That's how much it costs to watch Blondie pump out the classics on May 23 anyway, when the first Prime Live Event gets underway. The band is playing at the small-ish Round Chapel in Hackney, with Amazon saying this run of exclusive events for Prime subscribers wants to take bands and their fans to nice venues to provide a stylish sort of experience. Tickets for Blondie go on sale at 9:00am on May 11, through Amazon's new ticketing portal.
London has been chosen to host the series, with other Prime exclusive live performances seeing Alison Moyet, Texas and Katie Melua take to stages just for the benefit of Amazon's favourite clique of high-paying customers. If you're too old for gigs, they'll be recorded and beamed out through Prime Video at a later date. [Prime Live Events via Engadget]
