Missed out on pre-ordering an Xbox One X last time? Or wanting one that doesn't have 'PROJECT SCORPIO' emblazoned on it in gaudy green letters? Your time has come: Microsoft has just sent the next wave of pre-orders out into the wild, so grab one while it's hot.
The Xbox One X boasts itself as the "most powerful console ever", and on specs alone there's no arguing with that. It's a beast — and much smaller than you'd expect it to be too, having an even smaller physical footprint than the Xbox One S.
I got some hands-on time with the console earlier this month, testing out a bunch of upcoming games on it including Assassin's Creed Origins, Shadow of War and Rise of the Tomb Raider with its new and shiny 4K update. Games look incredible and are super-smooth to play; if you value technical prowess in your video games, then the Xbox One X is where it's at. For the asking price of £450, though, it's a lot of money, but in terms of the technology involved in the machine, it's worth every penny.
While all games will perform better by default, 130 news and existing titles have been announced to be getting full Xbox One X upgrades, giving them drastic improvements over the standard console version.
The Xbox One X will be available from 7th November, but you can pre-order it right now. Here's a handy Amazon link for you. You're welcome.
