Valve's Steam Link is on Sale for a Ridiculously Low Price

By Tom Pritchard on at

Do you remember Valve's Steam Link? It's a little box you plug into your TV, letting you stream your PC games to the big screen in 1080p 60FPS with zero lag. Or at least it will in an ideal situation. Well if you don't have one you might want to take advantage of the fact Valve put it on sale.

The Steam Link is normally £40, but it's not currently on sale for £7.09 bundled with FantaBlade's ICEY - a 2D sidescroller. According to the breakdown ICEY gets a 30 per cent discount (£9 down to £6.29) while the Steam Link has had a whopping 98 per cent discount. That means it technically costs 80p, though the reality is that you have to buy it with ICEY if you don't want to pay full price.

You also have to pay £7.40 in shipping costs, though that would still be there if this discount didn't exist.

There's no option to gift the game to someone else either, so you're stuck with it, though Steam reviews mark is as 'Very Positive' so you're getting a decent game out of it. Even if you never touch the game, the Steam Link costs about 82 per cent less than the RRP. That's a stellar deal, whatever you plan on using it for.

You can get the bundle over on the Steam store, and you have until 26th October. [TechRadar]
