A certain Cupertino-based firm wants all the programming that floods into your eyeballs to go through Apple TV. To assist in this goal, Apple has finally started to roll out the TV app for its microconsole.
The TV app has been available in the US for around a year, but it's only now that it's beginning to show up on UK devices. The app's sudden emergence on certain fourth and fifth-gen Apple TVs was first spotted by MacRumours, and the UK edition covers some heavy hitters, like BBC iPlayer, ITV, and Channel 5.
Own an Apple TV but still can't see the new app? Reboot your box, cross your fingers, and maybe that will move things alone.
Happy Apple-approved telly binging.
