According to the CEO of Samsung's mobile division, DJ Koh, the company's next handset, the Galaxy S10, will be getting "very significant" changes to its design.
Exactly what those "very significant" changes will be are currently unclear, but when speaking to Chinese media last week, Koh emphasised that there would be design changes to look forward to. Unfortunately, he didn't go into any detail.
Some of the rumours circulating about the upcoming Galaxy S10 already predict a substantially different phone over the S9. Since changes between the Galaxy S8 and S9 were arbitrary, it makes sense that the S10 would be more of a leap, but exactly what those "very significant" design changes are remains to be seen. It's likely it'll look different in design, but when phones are basically nothing but a screen, it's hard to see how it could be too different. Perhaps a little slimmer? Perhaps different colours? Extra cameras on the back will of course make a significant change to the phone's appearance, but if it's to be anything more than that, we'll have to wait and see. [SamMobile]
