Leaked Images Show off Some of Lego's Upcoming Christmas-Themed Releases

There's a lot of Lego out in the world. Too much Lego, if you ask some people, but you won't find any of them here at Giz UK. We're always looking for the newest sets that may or may not be coming, and two Christmas-themed options have popped up online: a Christmas present and a reindeer ornament.

The reindeer ornament seems to be a continuation of Lego's annual Christmas ornament selection, and is likely going to be a promotional item. Whether it's a free gift after you spend a specific amount of money, like the Christmas Roundabout is expected to be, isn't clear, but given Lego's track record it seems likely. That means it'll probably be in a polybag or sorts, with a protective cloth bag to keep it safe for the other 11 months of the year.

There's no word on when Lego might officially unveil this, but considering most other Christmas-themed sets are already on sale we shouldn't have too long to wait. In fact, a leaked promotional flyer from a Chinese Lego store (via PromoBricks) has it down for release sometime in November - alongside the previously rumoured Diagon Alley set, the Wind Turbine, and the far more interesting Christmas Gift Box.

The leaked images from PromoBricks show off the Gift box as a present-shaped set that opens up, much like Newt Scamander's suitcase, to reveal a Christmas-themed house inside. It's labelled as an 'encore' gift for Brick Friday, at least in China, and is limited to 4,500 sets. So these will be popping up on eBay quite soon, with sellers asking ludicrous amounts of money. Again, this is a free gift, with buyers getting one if they buy at least ¥799 (£89) worth of Lego.
