Christmas starts earlier every year, we all know this. It's why supermarkets have had Christmas stuff in stock since August, and that may be why Tesco Mobile has launched its Christmas deals a whole two months early. It's like the supermarket-themed network doesn't even care we have to get through the Black Friday deals first.
I guess it's a good a time as any to try and flog some deals, though, seeing as how we've finally got to the point where all the big companies have revealed their Autumn lineup. Except Xiaomi, but they're partnered up with Three, so that's not really the kind of thing Tesco will care much about.
Weirdly, though, Tesco is still flogging the iPhone 6S, which is a good three years old at this point. They don't even sell those on the Apple website anymore, but it does have a headphone jack. But you can get that 6S for as little as £19 a month, which saved £108 on the total cost of the thing. The downside, other than it being geriatric by phone standards, is that the price only applies to a 36 month contract with 500MB of data. Drop to a 12 month contract and you're suddenly paying just under £39 each month.
If you want something a little newer you can grab the Samsung Galaxy S8 or S8+, which are only 18 months old, for £25.49 a month - albeit with only 1GB of data. That offer also ends on 18th November, so you can't wait around until Christmas to decide. If you prefer Huawei products, you can grab a P Smart from £14.99 a month, and claim yourself a MediaPad T3 7-inch tablet absolutely free. If you prefer something cheaper and made by Motorola you can get the Moto E5 Play for as little as £7.50 a month with a free Motorola Sonic Play+ 200 Bluetooth speaker.
There are other deals to be had too but you may have to go hunting for them, because Tesco hasn't put them on the front page. Obviously it needs to get rid of those old iPhones.
