The New Year gift nobody wanted is this hideous 5-camera Android phone from Nokia, leaked by Evan Blass:

Look at it. It's horrible.
It looks like a lotus seed pod, which is one of nature's most innocuous gross-looking things in existence:

And yes, if you've been on the internet long enough, it also looks like that other thing. The horrible viral photoshopped thing. You know the one (but if you don't, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. It is vile and also NSFW. But if you must).
A (vertical) video of the phone has also leaked on Mysmartprice showing off some of the phone's features:
Said features apparently include a 5.99-inch 2K display, Snapdragon 845 chipset, Qi wireless charging, in-screen fingerprint sensor, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, plus Android One (that's the pure edition with no manufacturer nonsense) with two years of updates. And yeah, five Zeiss lenses on the back.
We don't have a price yet, but personally, we will not be buying the Nokia 9 PureView even if it's 99p. That rear panel gives us such severe trypophobia, the promo video is like trying to get through this BuzzFeed article full of horrifying holes without throwing your computer out the window.
Anyway. Nokia 9 PureView. Coming in early 2019, for people with stronger stomachs than us.
