The way my inbox is looking, Valentine's Day is fast-becoming a new Black Friday of sorts. Well it's not nearly that bad, but more and more retailers have realised it's a great way to try and get us common folk to spend money. The latest one is Google, which is offering discounts on a bunch of its hardware. Because nothing says romance more than £30 off a Google Home Hub.
That is one of the offers too. Buy a Google Home Hub from Google, John Lewis, Currys PC World, or Argos, and you will get £30 knocked off the standard retail price. That means it'll cost £109 instead of £139. The offer is live right now on all four sites, and according to Google you have until 14th February to take advantage of it.
Those same retailers are also offering you the chance to get a Chromecast for £15 if you also buy a Google Home Mini - I'm assuming that's a full price Home Mini because Google hasn't specified otherwise. If you just want the Home Mini John Lewis and Currys will be offering it for the usual discounted price of £29. Those offers aren't up yet, and will apparently be available from Friday 8th until 14th.
Finally if you want the Pixel 3, prices for Google's latest smartphone will be £100 cheaper at John Lewis and Carphone Warehouse - with prices starting at £639. But if you buy a Pixel 3 XL from Vodafone you'll get a free Google Home Hub thrown in for your trouble. Those deals aren't live yet either, so make sure to check back in come Friday.
