The Galaxy Fold might have stolen all the headlines, but it seems plenty of people were excited enough about the Galaxy S10 to press the preorder button: the phone comes out today, and it's had more preorders than any other Samsung phone in the UK, ever.
Interestingly, 57% of preorders were for the bigger, higher-spec S10 Plus.
Sadly though, 47% of people went for Prism Black -- why do you people hate colours?! Seriously, do tell us why in the comments if you chose black over these gorgeous colourways, because we don't get it.
More than 500 people will apparently turn up to the newly-refurbed Samsung Experience Store on Oxford Street in London to pick up their devices (and free screen protectors, woo!).
Did anyone actually get theirs at a minute past midnight from Argos? Let us know in the comments if you did, but we kinda doubt it.
Conor Pierce, Corporate VP of Samsung Electronics UK & Ireland comments on the launch:
"Our Galaxy S10 line-up builds on a decade of industry leadership, delivering breakthrough camera, display and performance features which continue to excite our customers, as shown by our record-breaking pre-order results.
It’s encouraging to see such a positive response to our new product line-up, across the ecosystem and including the new Galaxy Buds and Galaxy Watch Active, meaning that we are offering a greater range of choice than ever.
This year, we will continue to invest in innovation with our S10 5G handset and Galaxy Fold coming later this year, ushering in a new era of smartphone technology and connectivity."
