Leaked Renders Reveal the OnePlus 7 from Every Angle

By Holly Brockwell on at

Leaked renders of the OnePlus 7 made by a case manufacturer have appeared online, and they show us the new phone from all sides.

Slashleaks contributor Sudhanshu Ambhore tweeted the renders, which are clearly intended to show off the case on the phone, but nonetheless give us a good idea of what it's going to look like:

The phone screen has no notch whatsoever, and there's a big oblong cutout in top edge of the case, both of which support the previous leaks about the OnePlus 7's pop-up selfie camera.

There's also a treble camera enclosure on the back and no fingerprint pad, suggesting it's under the screen.

There's not much else to glean from the renders — the centred USB-C port is there, flanked on one side by a speaker grille and the other by the SIM tray. We've already heard there'll likely be no wireless charging on this phone.

There's no 3.5mm headphone jack, which will no doubt upset people, but there are apparently some more 'extreme' wireless Bullets on the way (that's what OnePlus calls its AirPods rival, it's not some kind of futuristic weapon).

If previous OnePlus launches are anything to go by, we'll see this phone before summer. We're already expecting a 5G handset (not the 7) next month.

What do you think of the renders? Holding out for the next OnePlus phone, or put off by the pop-up selfie snapper? Let us know in the comments. [Pocket Lint]
