We've been getting a steady trickle of leaks about the upcoming OnePlus 7, and the rumoured OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro 5G. Now, reliable leaker Ishan Agarwal has given us a launch date.
Agarwal has been one of the main leakers of info on the OnePlus 7, and yesterday he announced he'd "give us what we want" with the launch date:
Okay, so I'm gonna stop with the estimations and give you all what you want. I can confirm that #OnePlus7 Series is launching globally on "14th May" 2019! Exactly 1 month left for #OnePlus' Flagship Killer to be revealed! According to earlier leak: #GoBeyondSpeed! #OnePlus7Pro pic.twitter.com/KlUpHjZms7

The 14th of May is less than a month away, and it does tie in with OnePlus's usual release schedule, so we're inclined to think this is legit.
So far, we've had some details about the models of the phones and potential specs:
We can also see some information about the phone in the leaked image, specifically that it runs on the high-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset, has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, and has software based on Android 9 (Pie). The image also mentions a treble camera (as previously leaked) with 48, 16 and 8MP sensors, and a 6.67-inch 'super optic' display (presumably OLED).
If the model numbers are correct, there'll be three variants of the phone itself -- the standard OnePlus 7, an upgraded OnePlus 7 Pro and a OnePlus 7 Pro with the addition of 5G, for the early adopter types. Within that, it looks like there'll be three versions of the OnePlus 7 and four of the OnePlus 7 Pro, and just one format of the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G.
Case renders showing the phone from every angle, a 360-degree video, some more leaked images, pictures of all the colours and some comments from OnePlus itself, including quashing rumours that we might get a folding phone or wireless charging, and some info about the next version of OnePlus Bullets.
Is there anything left to reveal on the 14th of May? Not long 'til we find out. [SlashGear]
