More Specs for the OnePlus 7 Pro Have Leaked

The OnePlus 7 leaks keep flooding in, this time more specs for the OnePlus 7 Pro.

We've already had some early specs for the 7 and the Pro from the usually-reliable @OnLeaks:

And now the prolific Ishan Agarwal has added more:

One of the most interesting things in that list is the refresh rate – 90Hz means the phone refreshes its screen 90 times a second. The standard phone refresh rate is 60Hz, although gaming phones like the Razer Phone 2 and Asus ROG offer higher refresh rates for smoother graphics.

If the leak is correct, the higher refresh rate would suggest OnePlus is going after the gaming market with this phone, because no one else really cares about how many times a second their screen updates – the difference between 60 and 90Hz is really not noticeable with most phone applications.

The impressive 4,000mAh battery also suggests gamers, although to be fair everyone appreciates extra battery life.

We've previously seen two sets of leaked renders of the phone, both including a pop-up selfie camera, and three gradient colourways for the handset. We've also heard that it won't fold and won't have wireless charging, but might well come with an updated version of the Wireless Bullets earbuds.

OnePlus founder and CEO Pete Lau also posted an official teaser to get us a bit more hyped for the phone, although given all the leaks we're pretty sorted in that regard:

The teaser doesn't tell us much, but the three dots look a lot like the notification you get when someone's typing, if that means anything to anyone. It could also refer to a treble camera, or the three variants we've heard are coming (the OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7 Pro 5G).

We're expecting the phone to launch on or around the 14th of May, but no doubt we'll be back with more leaked tidbits long before then. [Pocket Lint]
