Airbnb Cabin From Avengers and Godzilla Gets Real Expensive to Stay in Once the Internet IDs It

By Shabana Arif on at

Owners of an Airbnb cabin have jacked up the price of their property after realising people will pay good money to stay at the same place as Tony Stark.

Somehow oblivious to the fact that the internet is thirsty for superhero movies and celebrities, and will pay out of the arse to rub shoulders with a bit of lint that may have been within sniffing distance of Robert Downey Junior, the listing was previously priced at $335 ( £283) and apparently made no reference to its appearance in Avengers: Endgame. Thanks to Reddit, that's all changed now.

The cabin also popped up in Godzilla: King of the Monsters, as spotted by another redditor, and now that world and its dog know about it, the price has shot up to $800 per night – that's £636. What does that get you? Three bedrooms, three baths, and a "back porch for hanging out...taking photos and sending text/emails to friends regarding your stay in the Marvel Avengers Endgame cabin." Exciting stuff.

But be warned, smoking, pets, events, and parties are outlawed, so leave the premises for your designated fun times.

The listing also contains spoilers for the film, so perhaps avoid booking a trip there if you've still not got around to watching the latest instalment in the MCU. [AV Club]
