There have been a slew of exciting announcements from this year's E3, but I'll be buggered if this little tidbit isn't right up there with the best of them. Corgis are coming to Pokémon Sword and Shield and we're thrilled about it.
Visitors to Nintendo's booth spotted the corgi Pokémon, officially called Yamper, with his little stumpy legs and perfect, fluffy rump, and started sharing details of the adorable critter on Twitter. Serebii posted a pic showing Yamper's moves and abilities, revealing that the pooch is an electric-type with a moveset that includes electric, dark, and fairy moves.
You can even Dynamax him for a super-sized good boi.

All of the details so far have come from people on the showfloor, but we expect that Nintendo will share details on the new Pokémon soon, including another (less exciting) addition to the Pokédex, called Impidimp. Which we don't care about.
There's still a while to wait before you can pet him, as Pokémon Sword and Shield won't be available on Nintendo Switch until November 15. [Polygon]
