Miracles happen but once every few thousand years. First, there was that Jesus chap who pulled fish and bread out of his arse (metaphorically speaking) to feed the masses. And now McDonald's is taking up the mantle by serving breakfast until 11am.
Yes it's only an extra 30 minutes on top of the usual 10.30am cut off, but that makes all the difference when you're scrambling around in a daze, peeling off last night's vomit-encrusted clothes and giving the more pungent areas of your person a quick blast with the shower head before piling into the car and speeding off towards the nearest drive-thru.
Temper your excitement though, as it's only on a six-week trial basis at just seven restaurants scattered across Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight:
- Commercial Road, Portsmouth
- Isle of Wight
- Cosham, Portsmouth
- IoW – Brading Road
- Ocean Retail Park, Portsmouth
- Fratton Park, Portsmouth
- North Harbour, Portsmouth
That extra half hour also applies to Uber Eats customers, extending the order cut off from 10.15am to 10.45am. Truly, this is the second coming.
Be sure to drag yourself into participating restaurants post 10.30am so that McDonald's doesn't take away this precious gift, and spreads the love to the rest of the nation. [Mirror]
