Virgin Media TV customers can watch Wimbledon in 4K UHD/HDR with the BBC iPlayer app on their set top box.

Wimbledon kicks off on Monday and you can watch the Centre Court action on your V6 box on your 4K telly. You can watch the less exciting matches too, but only in HD, by pressing the red button on your remote.

"It’s been a great summer for tennis fans on our TV platform with Roland Garros in 4K HDR last month and now Wimbledon," said David Bouchier, chief digital entertainment officer at Virgin Media. "Our customers will once more feel like they’re courtside with every smash and volley in the best picture quality possible, all from the comfort of their home. Virgin TV really is the best way to watch the best of this summer’s sport."

Virgin was the first broadcaster in the UK offer its viewers the chance to watch 4K HDR content, and last month's French Open let them get an eyeful on Eurosport.

If you're visiting Wimbledon and you're an American Express customer, don't forget to swing by the Andy Murray VR experience which sounds awful. But there's a hammock house, so there's that.
