If you're after a bargain, Amazon's Prime Day is the place to go today. But if you're after a bargain and you're not too bothered if your item is absolutely pristine and brand new, it may be worth checking the Amazon Warehouse. Typically selling stock at reduced prices to begin with, over the course of Prime Day there's an extra 20 per cent off everything you purchase from the Warehouse.
Although there is one small caveat to that: it's only available to Prime Members. If you're not a member however, you can start a 30-day trial completely free (as long as you remember to cancel before the end of that 30-day period), and as part of Prime Day you can join for £59 for a year. That's £20 off the standard price.
If you're not familiar with it, Amazon Warehouse promises "great deals on quality used products". Typically on the Warehouse you'll find customer returns or products that simply have a damaged box. Often, there'll be multiple listings of the same item, and each will tell you the condition of the item. "Like new", for example, generally means a brand new item with a bit of box damage. Everything on the Warehouse still comes with Amazon's typical guarantee and returns policy, so if something is a little more worse for wear that you expected, it's easy enough to get a refund.
There are some great deals to be had, and it's worth a browse through the Warehouse's multitude of categories. The 20 per cent off will be added at checkout, so remember to deduct that from the price you see when you add any items to your basket.
Give the Warehouse a browse now. The 20 per cent discount lasts until 11:59pm tomorrow, Tuesday 16th July.
