Huawei's Mate 30 Series Leaks in Its Entirety Days Before the Official Launch Event

The Huawei Mate 30 launch is set for September 19, but the entire line up has leaked ahead of the event in Munich.

Twitter leaker Evan Blass is at it again with the reveal of promo images for the Mate 30 series which reportedly includes the Mate 30, Mate 30 Pro, Mate 30 Lite, and a fourth image of a Mate 30 Pro Porsche Edition with a leatherette back in both black and red.

Huawei announced the launch date of its Mate 30 series earlier this month, along with its 'rethink possibilities' tagline which could be alluding to the fact that it will be launching  without Android or Google suite functionality, or the possibility of the handsets featuring Huawei's Harmony OS.

Looking at the images, both the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro are sporting notches, with the latter's being somewhat larger, possibly to accommodate additional sensors, while the Mate 30 Lite boasts a much more discreet hole-punch camera tucked away in the top left corner of the screen. According to Blass, this model "is the same as the recently-released nova 5i Pro."

The Mate 30 Pro's camera array is the circular design as expected, while the Lite has a square housing on the back.

Blass is usually spot on with his leaks, so we'd be surprised to see discrepancies between his leaked promo images and the actual reveal this Thursday. [The Verge]
