Lego's Force Friday Deals are Coming, and That Means Lots of Star Wars-Themed Offers

By Tom Pritchard on at

This Friday is what is has been dubbed by Disney-marketeers as 'Triple Force Friday' - or in other words the day that all the Episode 9-themed toys are allowed to go on sale. That includes the Lego sets we first saw late last week, but that's not all the Danish brickmaker has planned. There are, naturally, some Force Friday offers to be had.

The big news is that all Star Wars purchases made between 4th and 6th October get double VIP points, so you need fewer points to grab yourself those lovely discounts of physical gifts offered by the new reward programme. Plus, since the giant new UCS Star Destroyer goes on general sale tomorrow, it means you can make the most of having to spend £650 on a Lego set, Same goes for the UCS Millennium Falcon.

There's also going to be a sale on Star Wars sets, but only on selected items - which means older stuff that Lego would like to get rid of. The chances of anything new, or good, getting discounted are basically zero.

On top of this anyone spending over £75 gets a free Battle of Endor scene to build, featuring trees, AT-STs, and a 20th anniversary plaque. Lego stores will also have a 'make and take' where you can build a Luke Skywalker timeline to take home with you.

Oh and the new Rise of Skywalker sets will be available to finally buy, which is nice.
