The OnePlus 7T was revealed this week and one of its features is its impressive 90Hz display that will now be a staple of all of the company's smartphones going forward.
That's according to OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei who made the statement at the launch event in India this week.
OnePlus confirmed a 90Hz refresh rate for the 7T series last week, saying it was on a "mission to spread 90 Hz to eyes the world over". The industry standard for smartphone is currently 60Hz, with a few exceptions like the Asus ROG, and the Razer Phone 2's 120Hz display. And of course, there's OnePlus' own 7 Pro that also boasted a 90Hz refresh rate.
So if you use your phone for gaming, or just appreciate a fantastic-looking display, you may want to stick with OnePlus until competing smartphone brands decide to up the ante. You can check out what we thought of the screen and all of the new smartphone's other features in our OnePlus 7T review.
