Despite having its own gaming phones, Razer isn't missing a trick when it comes to cashing in on mobile gaming and has made a cooling case for the new iPhones.
The series of iPhone 11 phones was unveiled at Apple's event last night and Apple Arcade was one of the main areas of focus, with studios like Capcom, Konami, and Annapurna taking to the stage to debut their new titles. We even saw an interesting Dark Souls-inspired game called Pascals Wager, which will definitely have your iPhone getting nice and toasty.
To that end, Razer has announced its Arctech case that uses its Thermaphene technology to cool down your handset.
"Thermaphene is a thermally – conductive material that dissipates heat. In independent testing against similar style cases, the Razer Arctech case maintained temperatures up to 6° Celsius (42.8 Fahrenheit) lower than the comparison case," says Razer.
The case comes in two variants - Slim and Pro. The Pro version comes with added durability that claims to protect your handset from drops up to 10 feet. Both cases are available in Black, Quartz and Mercury and fit the iPhone XS, XS Max, XR, iPhone 11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro Max, and Razer's own Razer 2.
The Slim will set you back $29.99 while the Arctech Pro comes in at $39.99. If you're really feeling fancy, you can splash out for the Pro THS Edition with a scratch-resistant back plate for $44.99. The cases don't appear to be up on the UK site yet, but the US site does ship to the UK. So knock yourself out.
