Sleigh bell sounds are to be replaced by crisp packet rustling in the lounges of the land this Christmas, as Walkers is about to unleash the full fury of Mariah Carey's All I Want For Christmas Is You across adverts for its box sets of crisps.
To help celebrate the 25th anniversary of the classic song – and sell multipacks of Walkers – Carey has agreed to star in a series of advertisements for the crisps brand this Christmas, which appears to officially begin on November 2nd, the date the first of the Carey adverts is to show on UK TV.
There is of course a teaser for the advert on social media...

...because that's how sad for content the world is right now. We suspect Walkers is playing on the diva reputation of the singer songwriter for the ads, as Mariah – not looking at all sad about whoring out the same old song for the 25th consecutive three-month period – appears to be acting a bit angry about possibly having to share her lovely crisps with someone else.
There will be prizes given away on the packs too. I'm not typing Crispmas if that's what you came here for. No way. The Grocer has already done it on Twitter anyway. [The Grocer]
