A stormtrooper pop-up full of merch is opening this week in Boxpark Shoreditch. The doors open tomorrow, Tuesday, October 22, and will showcase a range of new Original Stormtrooper brand goodies, as well a first glimpse of the new Super Loot limited-edition Original Stormtrooper Mystery Box.
Meanwhile the replica masks have been made using moulds from Star Wars: A New Hope, and there'll no doubt be a range of products from the website, including keyrings, t-shirts, a cheeseboard of all things, and espresso mugs. The merch is all over the place and it looks fantastic.
The real fun is set for the late night opening on Thursday, which will see the special guest of appearance of Andrew Ainsworth, whose company manufactured the Stormtrooper helmets for the original films back in the 70s. He also got embroiled in a copyright dispute with Lucasfilm over his replicas, but that's another story entirely. Ainsworth will be around to vandalise your new possessions from 5pm.
The pop-up is open every day from 11am - 7pm, from October 22 to 27, and will be open until 8pm on Thursday. [Londonist]
