Lego's Black Friday Deals Kicked Off Today With Up to 30% Off Random Sets

By Kim Snaith on at

Forget all those other deals on cheap tech we've been posting about all week; we really only care about one shop's Black Friday sale: Lego. Its true Black Friday sale has kicked off today, with 20-30 per cent off a selection of sets. But we've got to say, it's a bit disappointing so far.

It looks like every day for the next five days will bring new daily deals, along with a selection of ongoing deals that, presumably, will last until stock runs out. The daily deals all have 30 per cent off RRP, while the other sale items are either 20 or 30 per cent.

Here are today's daily deals:

I'd act fast if you want to grab one of those: the Winter Holiday Train was also 30 per cent off, but that one has already sold out. We'd expect the others to follow suit soon.

The Dragon Boat Race and Jurassic World set are both listed as retiring soon, too, so this could be your last chance to pick them up. The Dragon Boat Race is about the only set worth grabbing here; at 643 pieces it's decently-sized for the money, and packs in no less than 15 minifigures. They're worth the money alone – the cool dragon boats are merely a bonus.

Here are the other reduced sets:

Lego Star Wars

Lego DC and Marvel

Lego City

Lego Architecture

Lego Friends

Duplo

Lego Jurassic World

Lego Ninjago

Lego Creator

Technic

Lego Disney

Lego Hidden Side

Lego Classic

Lego Harry Potter

Lego Speed Champions

  • 20% off 1967 Mini Cooper S Rally and 2018 MINI John Cooper Works Buggy - was £45, now £36

Lego Overwatch

If you spend more than £120 either in-store or on the Lego website between now and 2nd December, you'll get a free exclusive Christmas Tree build.
