Samsung has already teased its clamshell foldable phone and now it seems that photos of the device may have leaked on Chinese social media.
The biggest leap from its first generation foldable to its second was the change in design, from a vertical fold to a horizontal one, making for a clamshell handset. It also looked smaller compared to the Galaxy Fold.
"Tired of Samsung Galaxy Fold? Let's take a look at Samsung's latest clamshell folding screen phone. Is such a phone your dish?" reads the (badly) Google translated caption from Weibo.
While it certainly looks in line with what we're expecting from the new handset, it's worth noting that there are only two rear cameras along with the front hole punch camera located at the centre of the display. It also has a pretty sizeable bezel.
This may be a fake but based on the scarce amount of details we have, we don't really have many other features to help whittle it down, so take it with a big pinch of salt for now. [The Verge]
