Here's some unlikely news for you, though I've been told it's been rumoured for quite some time. Lego has partnered up with the Fast & Furious franchise, and has promised to release some sort of tie-in set to coincide with the release of a new film later this year.
We don't have much to go on here, other than the fact that the set will go on sale on 27th April and will be a Technic creation aimed at an older audience. Which makes sense, really, considering the Fast & Furious franchise isn't really the kind of thing you'd associate with a brand like Lego. It's not so child-friendly, though that hasn't stopped the company from releasing sets from other more mature-oriented franchises like James Bond and Stranger Things.
At least by doing it with Technic it won't be confused for a playset, and you can't make the Vin Diesel and Rock minifigures shoot each other.
Also coming this summer is a larger-scale Lamborghini set, in a similar style to the old Porsche 911 from 2016 and the Bugatti Chiron from 2018. Again we don't know much, other than the fact that it'll be a 1:8 scale model of a real Lamborghini. Lego hasn't said which one, though I guess it'll be a fairly recent model.
This one goes on sale at Lego stores on 1st June, and will be available from other retailers on 1st August.
