If you're after a (relatively) inexpensive phone and don't want to be tied down to a contract, have we got the deal for you.
Kicking off today, you can take advantage of the offer at the Google Store, Currys PC World, Carphone Warehouse, and Argos, where you can pick up either a SIM-free Pixel 3a or 3a XL with £70 off its RRP - although we're wondering whether Argos got the memo as the handset hasn't been marked down on the site yet.
That brings the price of the Pixel 3a down from its usual £399 to £329, while the Pixel 3a XL has dropped from £469 to £399. The deal is live until February 18, so there's plenty of time to wait until next payday kicks in before treating yourself - we know that January purchases are firmly off the table for a lot of you (and us) after Christmas, so this way you can still get a look in.
While the Pixel 4a is next up on Google's schedule, the Pixel 3a (and 3a XL) is a fantastic budget/mid-range smartphone that we said "crammed all the nifty Pixel software and AI-enhanced features into a phone that costs half the price [of the Pixel 3]" in our review. It's available in Just Black, Purple-ish, and Clearly White and has a built-in headphone jack, which is a feature that's being dropped from smartphones left, right, and centre, so enjoy that while you can.
