OnePlus' next series of phones are on the way, but rather than debuting in the summer, recent rumours point to a release months earlier than that.
Twitter leaker Ishan Agarwal has shared an update saying that the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro are expected to launch in either late March or April, bucking the trend of a May/June release. He doesn't seem to know whether that will also apply to the OnePlus Lite, and also mentions a new green colourway for both handsets.
Got some #OnePlus news to share with you all! The OnePlus 8 & 8 Pro (Who knows, maybe the 8 lite too) will be launching sooner this time! Expect a launch in Late March or April. Also, there will be a new Green colour for both the phones. Are you excited for these phones? pic.twitter.com/ceUjcWOzm4

The last smartphone OnePlus rolled out was the 7T series in October last year, although we thought the OnePlus 7T Pro was a bit of a pointless non-update. The March/April date isn't that out of left field based on the companies' six monthly launches - after all, last year's OnePlus 7 made its debut in May, 2019.
The most recent rumours around the upcoming OnePlus 8 suggests we'll see wireless charging at last, and possibly 5G. We already know that the OnePlus 8 Pro will sport a 120Hz display. CEO Pete Lau loves to tease fans of the brand so no doubt he'll have a few other titbits for us before the official reveal, whenever it is. [Trusted Reviews]
