If you're the sort of person who likes to open their presents before Christmas, you'll be excited to hear that more specs for Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Tab S7 and S7 Plus have leaked.
They both apparently run on the Snapdragon 865 Plus processor (though we'll probably get Exynos again in the UK, sigh), have a base model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, have a 5G option, offer dual rear cameras with a 13MP main and 5MP ultra-wide, and finally both rock an 8MP selfie cam (don't use your tablet for selfies, you terrible human).
The main difference is unsurprisingly in the display, which is obviously the main feature of any tablet. While the base model will offer 11 inches at 2560 x 1600, the Plus will be 12.4 inches with 2800 x 1752. The Plus also has better screen tech – OLED over LCD – and an in-screen fingerprint sensor, whereas the base model's is on the side.
Interestingly, both screens will apparently offer an impressive 120Hz refresh rate.
Battery-wise, sounds like we're getting 7,040 mAh on the base model and 10,090 on the Plus, both fast-charging capable but bundled with a standard 15W charger. In other words, you'll have to buy a fast charger separately.
It sounds like both tablets will support the new wireless DeX ("desktop experience") we're looking forward to seeing at Unpacked, alongside the new phones. Is there anything left to show at Unpacked on the 5th of August? Not long to wait to find out. [The Verge]
